Creating a commission for a client is always an incredible experience both for the client & the artist. Each commission is created by capturing exactly the feeling, memory, emotions & passions you want to hold in your home (or as a gift for loved ones) by taking a detailed brief. As well as ensuring that the finished painting fits seamlessly into the space where it is to hang.
A budget is established, sketches & layouts created for you to choose from as well as images of how the painting might look in your space. Each painting has a story woven into it, which is personal & meaningful to you so that every time you look at it, it conjures up good thoughts, memories & feelings. The personal nature of commissioned art can have a huge emotional impact & I am always moved by the feedback from clients on the meaning the painting has to them.
